Katie Browne, Director of Bands

Katie Browne has been teaching at Aviara Oaks Middle School since 2006. She directs all classes at all levels. Bands under Mrs. Browne perform all over the community and have opportunities to perform at places like Disneyland, Knotts Berry Farm, and Foothill College in the San Jose area.

She is a native of San Diego, California and received her Bachelor’s Degree with Honors in Liberal Studies and single-subject credential in Music from San Diego State University.  Her professional affiliations include the National Association for Music Education and the California Music Educators Association.

She lives in Oceanside with her husband Jeremy, and daughter Ellie.
