Getting Started

I have found an Autodesk program called Tinkercad to be an excellent entry point into CAD drafting for a variety of users of any age group. This video and the corresponding guides I have created introduce students and teachers to the Tinkercad program, how to set up an account, and how to orient and navigate once in the program, highlighting the “learn” tab and some of the features that make this a great program for an introduction to CAD drafting. Video guide to get oriented in Tinkercad once you have created your Tinkercad account. If you are 12 or under, you will need an adult to moderate your account, a parent or guardian with an email address is recommended, otherwise your teacher may provide their email address and moderate you account.
