Intercollegiate racing

Carleton Nordic is a part of the  Midwestern Collegiate Ski Association Nordic league! Every year we attend the following races:

• Mt. Ashwabay Summit Ski Race (30k Skiathlon)

• The Vasaloppet USA (35k or 50k Freestyle)

• The American Birkebeiner (50k Classic or Skate!)

The team travels to each of these events, often leaving campus for one or two nights. They are incredible races that allow the team to experience the greater midwest ski community while also competing with other collegiate athletes! In 2025, our women's team placed 2nd overall in the MCSA leage!
