Carleton Ballroom and Social Dance are two clubs who work closely together to share our passion for partner dance with other Carleton students. Events include classes open to all members of the Carleton student body taught by advanced dancers, and open dance opportunities to practice techniques and patterns. No experience is required to join!

We are a tight-knit group of students who can never dance quite enough and are dedicated to learning a wide variety of ballroom and latin dances. We focus on improving our dancing technique and encourage our members to participate in ballroom dance competitions across the upper midwest. If you’re interested, please shoot us an email and join us!
Social Dance Club (SDC) is a student-run organization that focuses on bringing students together to enjoy social dancing. We enjoy many kinds of partner dances, including waltz, tango, cha cha, and more. We meet weekly on Wednesdays and start most meetings with a half-hour lesson.
