Carinya support students in Years 11 & 12 whose future pathway would be enhanced by studying a TAFE subject as part of their Year 11 and/or Year 12 pattern of study.

Some TAFE subjects are classified as ICF (Industry Curriculum Framework) courses. These can be counted as subjects (units) towards an ATAR. Other courses are classified as Board Endorsed Courses. These count as units towards an HSC but not the ATAR.

TAFE Post-School

TAFE NSW begin to take expressions of interest for full-time courses in November each year. Students are encouraged to phone TAFE in November, and TAFE will keep in touch with them regarding the enrolment process.
