The senior portrait scheduling page is now active and open for rising seniors to select his/her appointment date and time. Four dates are currently available - July 10th, August 18th, September 25th and October 9th. The link for seniors to schedule their appointment is:

Graduation Photo Information

Graduation Photos!

Each individual's graduation portraits will be available to view and order online. Here are a few tips for accessing your images:

All images will be posted to our website within 5-7 days of your graduation ceremony.
Images can be accessed via this link: Legacy Studios Events or by going to events.legacystudios.com.
Please use code 4520E26 to view your images on the website.
Please note that if your images have not uploaded to the site yet, when entering that code, you'll receive a 'Gallery not found' notification. Please allow 5 to 7 days after graduation before trying to access your images to avoid any frustration.
All ordered graduation pictures will be shipped directly home, not returned to the school.
Pre-ordering is not available for graduation portraits.

Caravel Academy Graduation Video

Caravel Academy's 2025 Graduation will be recorded by O.K. Video. The event will be live streamed at no charge to the Caravel community and recorded media may be purchased by interested families.

Please note: Tech support will not be available during the ceremony, so be sure to check that your device is configured to access video and audio content before the event begins. O.K. Video is unable to troubleshoot internet connectivity issues.

This live stream will not be available for later online viewing. It will be streamed at ceremony time only, although a fully-edited event video is available for purchase (see below).

DVDs, Blu-ray Discs, and MP4 files on USB Flash Drive are now available for pre-order at $33 each in your choice of video format.

Additionally, an optional +/-3-minute-long personalized downloadable event highlight video is available, perfect for sharing through social media. See your school's order page for details and a sample video.

The deadline for orders at advertised prices is Wednesday, July 2, 2025. Regardless of when they are placed, all orders will be shipped for receipt by JULY 16. Links to personalized downloadable videos will be emailed by mid-July.

Orders placed July 3, 2025 and thereafter will incur a $7 late fee and will mail to homes within 2 weeks after on-time orders are fulfilled for all schools.

REMINDERS:

Please apply to colleges using the Common App. Create a profile, and make a list of your colleges. Under each college, list your recommenders. Be sure to list Mrs. Brown as your guidance counselor. Once you complete these steps, your recommenders will receive an email to upload your letter. This will be shared with all of your college choices.
Student questionnaires for college recommendation letters were due to the Guidance Office prior to school ending in June. Please make sure you have completed this questionnaire.

Create a resume for yourself to share your accomplishments! See the example below for suggestions on items to include.

All seniors have individual college planning conferences in the Guidance Office in September, but students are encouraged to visit the Guidance Office any time for help looking for colleges or with applications questions.
Take the SAT again in October or November and have your scores sent to colleges on your list. The College Board allows you to send four score reports to colleges free of charge, but they charge $12 for each additional score report.
Ask teachers, counselors, employers, and coaches for letters of recommendation to include with your college and scholarship applications. Stop by the Guidance Office for advice on requesting letters, and remember to follow up with thank you letters to the people who have written letters for you.
Start applying to colleges early, and pay attention to deadlines. Notify the Guidance Office every time you apply to a college online. We need to send your official transcript to each college. Often there is a counselor’s page that needs to be completed and submitted with your transcript, so email or print out this form if it is included with your online application.
Demonstrated interest is becoming more and more important to college admissions counselors, so don’t be afraid to contact the admissions office at your top choice school!
As soon as possible after October 1st, complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) online.
Notify the Guidance Office of your college acceptances (and scholarship awards) as you receive letters.
If you are having a hard time deciding which college to choose, make sure you visit the college while classes are in session. Talk with other students, visit the dorms and eating facilities, and get a feel for what it would be like to live there for four years.
Apply for as many scholarships as possible. Billions of dollars are given away in scholarships each year, but you have to apply! It can be time consuming, but it is well worth it to apply for dozens of scholarships. Listen to the morning announcements, refer to this website (scholarships are added often), look at the scholarship bulletin board outside of the Guidance Office, visit scholarship websites such as www.fastweb.com, or stop by the Guidance Office for more information about private scholarships.
Don’t rule out a college because of a high “sticker price.” Many very expensive private colleges offer the most money in scholarships and financial aid. You can get an idea of some of the scholarships different colleges offer by visiting www.meritaid.org.
If you are placed on the waiting list for your first choice college, stay in touch with the admissions office so that they know you are still interested in attending.
Notify all colleges of your decision by May 1, 2026.
Notify the Guidance Office of your final college decision so that we can send your official transcript and proof of graduation at the end of the year.
