2023 Capistrano ACCELERATED Math Course Placement Testing For New Students
If your child is transferring into a Capistrano USD middle school for the 2023-24 school year and would like to test into an accelerated math placement. Please complete this form . After enrolling your student on the form you will receive an email requesting proof of the transcript.

Students currently enrolled in High School or K-8 may be eligible to enroll at Saddleback College. This program is designed to enhance, not replace, the regular school experience. The student may enroll in courses as recommended by their school principal. Information can be found with this link
Info on CUSD school of choice for the 23-24 school year
Students can find success if:
- they consistently use their planner
- they start homework within 30 minutes of arriving home
- they minimize distractions while doing homework (put away phone, turn off TV & videogames)
- they maintain an organized binder, backpack, and locker (this includes minimizing the number of items they bring to school)
- they focus on one item at a time; multitasking has been proven to be less effective than doing 1 task at a time
- they prepare their backpack / clothes / lunch the night before
