Guiding Coalition

Here you will find updates on the Bergeson Guiding Coalition progress.  The Bergeson Guiding Coalition was created for the purpose of exploring the feasibility of a TK-8 Mandarin Immersion model at Bergeson.  

BERGESON TRANSITION SURVEY:

Thank you to all of the Bergeson families who attended the information meetings on 1/24/24 to find out more information about the October Survey results, the transition of the English Program and the future of the Mandarin Immersion Program. Families received an email with a copy of the slideshow presentation and a link to the recorded virtual meeting presentation. Please check your email and spam folder.  It was sent from Bergeson Elementary School. Email Principal Murphine (jrmurphine@capousd.org) if you can't locate it or are having difficulty with access.

• Due to declining enrollment in the English Program, we are sunsetting the English program and want to make the transition as smooth as possible for our families and staff

• We are exploring the feasibility of a TK-8 model at Bergeson and want to hear from our M.I.P families.
