Fun Run Recap
We are so thankful for everyone's support with our recent Fun Run event. It was an extremely successful event, raising funds for our school and the numerous events we hold throughout the year. A big shoutout to the volunteers who helped make it all happen and continue to support the event as we finalize the post event tasks such as prize packing. The final fundraising prizes will be distributed on Friday October 24.
Speaking of prizes, the 3D Xolotl prize has unfortunately been delayed and will not arrive until later this month. Students who earned this prize will receive a bonus of a Squishy Sasquatch in the meantime and then they will receive their Xolotl once it arrives.
Thanks again to all for your support!
Last Friday, Oak Grove had the pleasure of spending the day with our Principal for a Day, Mayor Ackley!
Our students and staff loved having her on campus and sharing what makes our school so special!
Spooktacular Halloween Parade
Our Halloween Parade will be after our Flag Ceremony on Friday, October 31. Parents are welcome to come and see all the wonderful costumes. Costumes should follow the guidelines below:
Costumes should be kid friendly
No make-up will be allowed
No weapons of any kind
No masks should be worn
No blood or gore that will scare the younger students
Bring a change of clothes for after the parade
We want this time to be fun and safe. Parents will be contacted if students arrive with any of the above things.
