This foundational course provides an overview of career exploration through systems of the healthcare industry. The course focuses on ethics, leadership, cultural diversity, communication skills and an introduction to medical math and research, with a emphasis on past and current healthcare trends. Small group with cooperative peer interactions and presentation skills are necessary to be successful.

Donations: Due to constant price increases for medical supplies, it can be difficult at times to remain stocked with the appropriate supplies needed for learning experiences. To help fill this void, the Health Science Dept. is always grateful to accept donations from any and all healthcare facilities. We are happy to receive expired supplies such as; gloves, PPE, Phlebotomy supplies (vacutainers, disposable tourniquets, blood collection tubes of all colors and sizes, phlebotomy needles of all sizes), and any other medical supplies you or someone you know would like to donate.
