Please bring a book or two to read for pleasure. Have them at school at all times. I have an extensive library you can borrow from as well. Also, have a full water bottle at the start of every day.
In language arts, we are using the reading series Wonders. The students will have a book and workbook. We will continue to work on great writing and reading a variety of stories every week. In their Wonders app are games to play each week and vocabulary practice to reinforce what we are working on in class.
In social studies, we are studying ch. 5 in the Ohio book. It is about the Northwest Ordinance. It also discusses Ohio becoming a state.
In science, we are working on animals, plants, and their adaptations.
In social studies, we are working on ch. 5 about Ohio becoming a state and the War of 1812.
Book reports are due Friday, March 27.
