About the Bond

The Canby School District wants to extend a warm thank you to our voters for passing a capital construction bond in May 2020, approving the issuance of $75 million in bonds for the purpose of keeping students "warm, safe, and dry." The state awarded the district a $4.7 million matching fund grant, and the district earned $18 million in premiums for a total of nearly $98 million in funds. The district has worked with partners to improve health, safety, and security; renovate and repair aging schools; expand educational opportunities; modernize Canby High School; and plan for the future. All projects have been completed on time and under budget.
