How does it work?
Whether you have Herd or use Downtime actions, all feeding must be done in a district. Choose from the list wisely.
Each District has a Difficulty rating. This rating is between 1 and 5.
Difficulty 1 means it takes 1 downtime/herd to feed there.
Difficulty 5 means it takes 5 downtimes/herd to feed there.
Each District has an Available Blood rating and can feed up to a certain amount of Caintites before the Difficulty Rating of the district is increased. This rating is between 5 and 1.
If the Difficulty Rating is 1, it can Feed up to 5 Cainites before the difficulty is increased to 2. If the Difficulty Rating is 5, it can Feed up to 1 Cainites before resources become too scarce.
Within the boundaries of the districts of Sabari, the homes, temples, and fortresses of different Cainites are hidden. Guilds posing as legitimate businesses in the day time and certain taverns are known to have strange patrons once in a while. Q: What can I do to improve a district and make it easier to feed?
A: District Improvement and Raising Ratings!
Help Improve the Districts of Sabari to raise the Ratings of a district! Complex quests available to improve each district. As you improve the districts through projects (Sewers, fresh water, roads, city defenses, and overall grow each district, the Difficulty Rating of the District will lower. Complex quests take 2 or more months to complete.
Once the districts of the city have been raised to a certain rating, at year 2 of game, the city rating itself will increase. Currently, we are restricted to a level 3 city. Meaning all your stock locations are unable to improve past level 3. If enough as been done, the city improved enough, in year 2 we move up to a level 4 City. Meaning Stock Locations can be improved to level 4, and 2 new districts can be added/improved.

The poorest sections of the city. Crime is rampant in the slums of the Port of Sabari. Beggars and homeless live in squalor and those that actually have homes in the area don’t fair much better. It is over crowded and dirty. Few guards find their way into this district and much of the crime in the city occurs here. Bodies turn up all the time and unless they appear noteworthy few are investigated.

The farmlands of Sabari house a great deal of the working class citizens of the port city. Life is simple in the farmlands. Unlike much of the city this district is not as developed the majority of the city. A remnant of a violent past. These ruins are all that remain of the Vandal invaders that ravaged the region centuries before. Few people live here and those that do are often lepers or social outcast unfit for even the slums. The stone ruins are slowly being reclaimed by the island vegetation and inclement weather. The residents of the port have long since forgotten the name the Vandals gave their settlement

This district is the religious backbone of the Port of Sabari. While there are smaller churches spread throughout the other district this is where the primary residences of the Clergy are. The richest of God’s churches in Sabari are found here. Staff are housed in large dormitories while the clergy of importance live in lavish apartment styled accommodations. The churches themselves are of both Roman and Byzantium designs that house relics and treasures. It is also in this district that Heresies against the Church are carried out. The district is heavily patrolled by the Churches men at arms.

The rich crops of olives that grow here were planted by the Romans during the time they held the island. Several expansive properties are almost towns in their own right with large villas and quarters for the numerous staff required to run the orchards. The area is well patrolled by the private guards of the villa owners to protect the stockpiles of the lucrative olive and oils.

Barren and desolate. The rocky beaches and coastal cliffsides are home to none save the dead. Many holes have been carved out of the mountainside to house the dead. Carthaginians were laid to rest here as were Romans and eventually Byzantines. Great mausoleums house the noble dead of Carthage, Roman, . Many of the graves are simple holes decorated simply with amphora and gifts for the dead. The richer ones have exquisite mosaics and architecture. The great necropolis is greatly revered by the locals. Much like the city of the living the Necropolis mirrors the districts of the port city. The richest and most important are laid to rest high up the hills and the poor reside in the smaller holes on the lower slopes.
