Community partner relationships with Canaan Academy are beneficial and crucial for our small student population. Community Advisory Board helps the STEM Program to grow. The table below is the record of the input given, that has helped move the STEM program forward.

It is important to expose younger children to STEM careers early on in their education. Students will gain a better understanding of the training and education needed to serve in a STEM related field to be a productive member of society.

Community engagement is crucial to show students the importance of collaboration, giving back to the community, and more exposure to careers.

At Canaan Academy, we offer a variety of Robotics teams. The CCA Robotics Team is open to 4th-8th Grade Students that attend Canaan Community Academy. During the meetings, the students will be using the Engineering Design Process to design, build, and manipulate a robot while following the rules and regulations that are outlined in the VEX IQ Game Manual. The meets consist of three qualifier events and one final event.

All students are deserving of opportunities that will advance their skills to help them be a productive member of society.
