13 Years Total! 6 camper years and this this will be my 7th year on staff.
Where do you call home when you're not at Camp?
I grew up in Philadelphia, PA and will always consider that my home, but I’ve lived in or near Worcester Massachusetts for the last 5 years.
What is your favorite E.A., place at Onas, camper activity, and camp meal?
My favorite EA is capture the flag because I love to form a sneaky squad to explore the woods and bring home the win, or at least have a fun adventure trying. My favorite place at Camp is the pond when no one is there because there is nothing more peaceful on this earth, or the Gold Side when the sun is setting and the bug sounds start singing along with the counselors and form the prettiest song. I also love to be in the bunk during a famous Camp Onas rainstorm with the flaps down telling stories and huddling around flashlights. My favorite activity has to be anything where we get to be as goofy as possible and just let loose. A few summers ago we had an activity called Rock and Roll where we pretended to be rocks and rolled down hills and another called Get Your Id Out where we just let any of our inner sounds and funky movements out. Camp is such an epic place to be free and be yourself! My favorite Camp meal hands down is lasagna, firstly because it’s delicious, but even more so because it means Camp has finally begun and all the summer fun is on its way!

This past year, I’ve been living on a farm in Oakham, Massachusetts helping people coming out of prison or recovering from addiction to re-enter society. We donate almost all of the produce we grow to local organizations with similar missions, and we have a bunch of adorable animals that keep us company (2 alpacas, 2 mini horses, 2 donkeys, 3 goats, 70 chickens, 2 dogs, and 1 cat!). I’ve had an amazing year there and learned so much, and can’t wait to transfer those skills to our Onas garden!
