We'd love to hear from you!
Learned or tried something new? Started grad school? Got married? Had a surprise Onas connection at school or work? Spent time catching up with Camp friends?
If you send in your news and photos to friends@camponas.org, we'll include them in the next newsletter (with your ok, of course!). Please use the subject line "Alumni News." We can’t wait to hear from you!
Ashley married her husband Andre at a destination wedding in Zihuatanejo, Mexico. They also both recently moved to Princeton, New Jersey after living in Florida for several years.
I am currently living happily in Philadelphia. Last month, after a couple of years in the restaurant world, I accepted a job with the Philadelphia Yearly Meeting as their Community Engagement Coordinator. I have been loving being formally in relationship with the incredible breadth of work being done by Friends in their communities.
In 2023, I took a road trip from PA to New Mexico with my best friend of 10 years, Anna <3. She moved out there for an MFA program and I tagged along. Along the way, we stopped at the World’s Largest Pistachio a couple of miles outside the Mescalero Apache Reservation. The theme of the gift shop at The Pistachio is Aliens.
Life has been about live music, cooking, visiting friends scattered across the east coast, and cultivating my burgeoning backyard garden in pursuit of the perfect BLT. I think of my Onas friends often; I am sending love to all.
Please reach out if you are doing anything epic! I would love to know about/promote the work being done by us all—the uniquely wonderful Onas alumni—to connect with like-minded Friends. XOXO!
