We are on a three year learning partnership using the programnme Mana Kura, alongside our school iwi Te Kawerau a Maki.
So-What!? Purposeful Inquiry
Campbells Bay follows the Lane Clark model for inquiry learning. The Thinkinq! process provides a framework for ākonga and kaiako to follow to allow robust inquiry through immersion of knowledge, investigating and making discoveries to then reflect the learning done. Lane Clark provides frameworks to provide indepth learning for differeent learning areas. The know do understand from the curriculum refresh aligns well.
Sharing stories and making connections
Students will learn about themsleves and others. They will build connections beyond their own knowledge and experiences and develop a rich and wide point of view.
