Engineer
We allow students to join STLP anytime throughout the year and members regularly recruit others to come to one of our meetings to see if they would be interested in joining.
At the beginning of the year, the STLP sponsor met with several PLCs about how projects they are already doing with their students could be submitted as STLP projects.
•On Demand – Teachers and students are able to come to us in the library to help them resolve a myriad of technological issues.
•Laptops – STLP is in charge of repairing, troubleshooting, and distributing student ThinkPads.
•Educate students on how to create using the 3d printer.
•Students were taught how to use merge cubes for a virtual reality experience.
•Helping students get ready for state and regional level STLP competitions.
We had an STLP member, MK, represent our school as an engineer at KySTE and the STLP State competion. He also received the Student Technology Award from the Northern Kentucky Association of School Librarians.
