ABSTRACT
The primary energy source that Earth has relied on throughout history is our sun. It is an energy source that is by definition both renewable and inexhaustible, making it one of the undisputed leaders in the energy transition.
Many solar panels are fixedly positioned, such as on the roof of a home. When they are perpendicular to the Sun's rays, solar panels generate the most electricity. Due to the Sun's daily east-west motion across the sky, this means that fixed-mount panels will generate less power early in the morning and late in the evening.
Solar panels should be able to collect the most energy possible in order to use solar energy efficiently. This can only be done if the panels are constantly positioned to face the sun.
A comparison of the measured voltages showed that a sun-tracking solar panel is more effective than a stationary panel.
