What is TABATA?

  • a HIGH INTENSITY INTERVAL TRAINING (HIIT) workout

  • 8 ROUNDS in total

  • Each round lasts for 20 seconds of WORK followed by 10 seconds of REST

    • Can increase TIME of work

  • Entire workout can be just cardiovascular exercises, strength exercises, OR a mixture of both

*NO EQUIPMENT NEEDED*

Jump Rope TABATA variation: If you have a jump rope available, you can even create your own jump rope TABATA workout, with each round practicing a different trick. Definitelt a great cardiovascular workout to get the heart pumping and blood flowing through the body.
