Access books at your child's reading level. Make sure to: 1. Listen to the story 2. read the story yourself . 3. Answer the comprehension questions to the story.

Scholastic

Scholastic website has books they read to the kids, and the kids can read themselves! This is helpful if you don't have many leveled books at home. I highly recommend this one!

Dolch sight word lists and flash cards

These are the sight words and the order we use then in at Sartorette. The first grade teachers would like the first 3 pages learned BEFORE entering into 1st grade. Only practice few words at a time. Make flashcards, play games with the words.
