Earth Day is Wednesday, April 22. It is a day that we how appreciation for our planet and where we live. We also think about ways we can take care of the Earth. One way to take care of the earth is to recycle. That means we reuse items again so they don't just get thrown away. Garbage can be a problem. where does it go? When I was your age, my brother and I made a fort and we played inside of it for most of a summer. It took many days to put it together and we used old wood and material that we found. We didn't buy anything. we only reused things to make our fort. When my son was in kindergarten he made a dog out of cereal boxes and paper towel tubes. I wander what fun things you could come up with to make?

Your assignment to make something out of recycles you have at home. Friday we will all get a turn to share what you have made. You can send me a picture of what you have made. Have fun!
