GOAL: Make original art inspired by art from many styles, cultures, and times, while practicing the studio habits of mind.
Each week we will learn about a topic and respond creatively. This quarter, the topics are Styles of Art: Realistic, Expressive, Abstract, and Fantasy. *These are not fixed or all inclusive categories, but words that can be used separately or together to describe art we make, or what we see in the world.
I am very flexible to accommodate your interests. If at any point you would like to switch to an independent study (choose your own topic), just talk to me about your ideas.
