At OMS we use a standards based grading system. This means that instead of points, we are looking to see that a student can demonstrate an understanding of the standard at a proficient level. Each of the standards we use in Algebra has its own scale that can be best seen by clicking the link below.

Students in Algebra as 8th graders can earn high school credit for successfully completing the course. This also means that the standards based scores that your kiddo is earning also convert to letter grades at the end of the year. The conversion chart that are campus uses can be found at this link.
