This is a hybrid conference involving attendees both in-person and online. In order to facilitate academic exchange on the day between both modes of attendance, we are hosting an online conference platform using Slack. This allows us to:
Give updates on the running of the day
Comment on and discuss posters
Join video calls with remote poster presenters
We will add you to the conference's Slack workspace using the email address you entered during registration. If you have still not received an invitation 24 hours before the conference, please check your spam filter, and if you still can't find the invitation, please contact David Whyatt (dmw56@cam.ac.uk) and Lok Yan Lam (lyl31@cam.ac.uk) for advice.
We encourage you to install Slack on your phone so that you can easily scan QR codes, but you can also install it on your laptop. Make sure to enable notifications so that you don’t miss anything!
Every talk and poster at the conference will have its own area on the platform. We encourage you to pose questions and comments on both!
The Slack platform will allow you to keep conversations flowing before, during, and after the conference, and provides an easy way to make connections with other researchers and keep in touch.
