"Spectacular, sensational, St-Germain.... these words go hand-in-hand with the exceptional performance by Laurrie St-Germain. Laurrie began her life through tough challenges in the island nation of Haiti. You could say that Laurrie's roots and foundation of her life were formed in the ESMI Home where Laurrie shares such wonderful stories about working with the orphans during their school day, Sunday School, and countless activities. She is currently in Florida, but the family splits their time between there and Haiti. Laurrie is one of 13 children. She and her family share the strength of prayer as we have talked about her family praying and studying Scripture several times a day. For fun, Laurrie and her siblings love to sing and make up dance moves to "BTS" and "BlackPink." As her teacher, I would invite every student in our school to take just a moment to message Laurrie and you will get a chance to discover that she is an amazing gift from God!"

“Jimmy gets it done. I’ll admit I was a bit nervous when I found out he had a hockey tournament in Connecticut in between Week 2 and Week 3, but by our third meeting, Jimmy had knocked his assignments out of the park. Everything was completed on time and at a high level. Great job Jimmy!"

"My student of the month is Luke Dalton. I had him as a student last year, but he only took one class. This year Luke is a full-time student and is starting high school strong. He is active in the student body, including as vice president of the new Screenplay Writing Club. Luke's consistently positive attitude, even in the face of difficult circumstances, shows his maturity for his age. He is diligent in his studies and has keen insights into the coursework when we speak. But the two things I appreciate most about Luke are his kindness toward others and his great sense of humor."

"Maia is new to us here at Calvary and has hit the ground running in a big way. She is a wonderful student. Maia gets excellent quiz scores and approaches school with joy that is contagious. I am really happy that she is here with us."

"My selection for student of the month is Elijah Page. Elijah is hard-working, responsible, and diligent with all his school work. He has a positive attitude and comes prepared for our meetings. Elijah does excellent academic work and is an active member of the swim team at his local high school. He also plays the piano and participated in our talent show last year. Elijah loves the Lord, and I anticipate wonderful things for him this school year."
