English learners (ELs) need asset-based programs and instruction to succeed in our schools. To ensure that opportunities increase and outcome gaps decrease, we will share findings and recommendations from the 5th in a series of reports based upon an analysis of LCAPs from districts with high percentages or numbers of ELs. The 2024 -25 LCAP template contained new equity elements; we highlight examples from LCAPs that addressed equitable educational outcomes. Participants will leave with tools and resources to evaluate their LCAP and how to center the EL academic, language and program needs in the annual updates.
