How long can I checkout the kit for?

Kits can be checked out for up to 3 weeks.

Can I checkout more than one?

Sure!  Combining kits (Like Sphero Mini and Keva Planks) is a great idea.  You can also combine them with STEM through Literature books!

How do I learn about the kits?

Use the navigation bar on the left side of this website to browse the different available kits. Need more?  Do a Google search of the item, then add "lesson plans" to get more ideas.

How do I get help with a kit I've never used before?

Contact your local REMC12E Director to schedule, training, demo or time to practice using the kits.

Are these kits free to borrow?

YES!  REMC 12E Kits are FREE.  Some kits (like 3D Printers, Pens and StrawBees) also have consumables.  While some consumable materials may be available, you may need to supplement more to make sure you have what you need.  If you check out a kit with consumables, your REMC Director will contact you with what and how much is available.

How do I get and return my Kit?

STEAM Kits are typically delivered via REMC Delivery Services to your district's administration office, however pickup can also be scheduled at Calhoun ISD Gifford Schultz building.   To return your kit, place it in your building/district's REMC Delivery/Pickup bin to be returned.

If checking out a 3D Printer, you will be contacted to schedule delivery and pickup times by  your local REMC Director.
