It is time for physical fitness testing! All 7th grade students must complete physical fitness testing. This test is designed to gather data on how well you can do basic PE activities. You will be tested on how fast you can run a mile, the number of curl ups and push ups you can do, the trunk lift, and the shoulder stretch.
MS PE Standards Met:
Standard 1: Students demonstrate the motor skills and movement patterns needed to perform a variety of physical activities.
Standard 2: Students demonstrate knowledge of movement concepts, principles, and strategies that apply to the learning and performance of physical activities.
Standard 3: Students assess and maintain a level of physical fitness to improve health and performance.
Standard 4: Students demonstrate knowledge of physical fitness concepts, principles, and strategies to improve health and performance.
Standard 5: Students demonstrate and utilize knowledge of psychological and sociological concepts, principles, and strategies that apply to the learning and performance of physical activity.
Directions: You will complete your test using the form below. There are 5 sections on the form to complete and the test will take you about an hour to finish. It is best to complete the test with the help of a parent, sibling, friend or other guardian who can help you measure your performance. You can edit your responses after submitting if you need to and responses will be emailed to you. You will not be able to submit the form without answering all questions, so make sure to answer every question before closing the form otherwise you will lose your work!
Grading: It is mandatory that you complete physical fitness testing and respond to all questions. You will not be graded on your performance on these tasks but on completion. Please try your best.
