Cairngorms Riding for the Disabled Group

Volunteers

Volunteers are essential to the operation and activities of CRDA. From coaches to cake bakers, people support CRDA in many different ways – and we always need more! Whatever skills you can bring, giving your time to CRDA will mean that more disabled people can enjoy the therapy and fun of horses.

Volunteering with CRDA is both rewarding and fulfilling – and we want you to benefit from your time with us. Our award-winning programme of volunteer training means it’s not just our participants who get the chance to learn and achieve their goals.

We welcome volunteers of 12 and over, there is no upper age limit and we need a wide range of skills – not just with horses. RDA is a diverse organisation and we are at our best when we bring together people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities.

Members

Our Members are essential to the support and governance of CRDA. They are involved in the development, running and direction of the charity. They make up the democratic representation of the charity.

CRDA has two categories of annual membership; Voting Members and Associate Members.

Voting Members join at the AGM and can attend a Members Meeting of the Group (either AGM or EGM) and have a vote. Fee £1.

Associate Members can join at any time and can attend a Members Meeting of the Group (either AGM or EGM) and do not have a vote. Fee £0.

A Volunteer is automatically an Associate Member if not already a Voting Member.
