I was born in California, moved around a bunch as a child, and ended up in Georgia where I went to high school and eventually college at the University of Georgia. I wrestled and played rugby collegiately and majored in Spanish and International affairs, although I don't use much of those degrees anymore! I would then go on to seminary to get my masters in Biblical Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary while serving as full-time staff with Campus Crusade for Christ for 13 years. I still serve in a part-time basis with Athletes in Action, primarily serving college athletes at UALR.
My wife Ashley and I have been married for 14 years and have three wonderful children. Cait is our oldest and is also adopted from South Africa where we lived as missionaries. Titus is our next one and he is actually only 4 months younger than Cait, and he is biological along with our youngest Anna who is about a year and a half right now.
I am very passionate about the beauty of scripture and really want students to see the Bible come alive as it teaches us about the triune God. My prayer for my students is that they would fall more in love with the Lord and fall more in love with studying the bible! I absolutely love wrestling and the life lessons it teaches us and I love teaching students how to compete fiercely while still honoring the Lord. I am also a huge football fan (most sports really) but can't pass up an opportunity to go fishing or just be outside in beautiful weather. Any questions just ask, I am thrilled to be at CAC!
