I grew up in a small town in southern Illinois where I attended the local public school. I am one of five children and the only girl. In fact, I’m also a twin (I have a twin brother). I came to Arkansas in 2006 to attend Harding University. I married my husband in 2009 and graduated from Harding in May 2010. My husband is a carpenter and we have two kids, Caleb and Hannah. They attend CAC at the NLR campus. This is the start of my 13th year teaching and I’ve taught Pre-Algebra and Algebra every year (3 years in Newport and 4 years at Harding Academy previously). This will be my 6th year at CAC. I really do have the dream job. I've known I wanted to be a teacher since I was in middle school and I can't imagine doing anything else. I am currently working on my masters in mathematics at UALR. I am beyond blessed to get to work at CAC.
