Mr. Gafford

Hello! My name is Joe Gafford and I teach Advanced Placement U.S. History, 8th Grade U.S. History, 7th Grade Arkansas History, & 7th Grade Digital Citizenship. I am also the Sponsor for CAC's Quiz Bowl Team.

I have lived in five different states: Arkansas, Alabama, Tennessee, California, and Mississippi. I originally came to Arkansas as a college student at Harding University where I studied History, Bible, and English. I graduated with my Bachelor's in May of 2016 and completed a Master of Arts in Teaching degree from Harding in December of 2017.

I moved to Little Rock in May of 2017 when my wife started working at Baptist Hospital. She recently completed her Masters in Public Health at Baylor and took a new position at UAMS. We have been married for seven years and have been in Little Rock for five of those years. This will be my fifth year at CAC and I am greatly looking forward to this school year! I am an avid reader and a huge college football fan. Roll Tide!
