Generation Why (or GNWY) is a Creative Arts/Mental Health Awareness Non-Profit based out of Oklahoma City. Our goal is to inspire every generation by revealing their purpose, and providing opportunities for them to pursue them.

Within our organization, we provide opportunities for people to share their giftings in many different areas of the arts, including - dance, spoken word, rap, visual arts and media production, and motivational speaking. We have curated empowering experiences and programming structured around: suicide and bullying awareness, social emotional competency, peer-to-peer interaction, and the impact and effects of inclusion and diversity.

An encounter with Generation why is an hour long experience that is high-energy, focused on engaging with students. By using music and dances that are up-to-date with current trends, we create a connection point with students and break down barriers (social, emotional, mental) and meet them where they are. This connection point allows them to receive our message and leaves them feeling full of hope and purpose.

Aaron holds a degree in Psychology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and was a member of the 1994 National Championship football team.

He has spent countless hours with young people in junior and senior high schools, colleges, and juvenile detention centers. He has worked directly with youth as Urban Outreach Director for Campus Life, and as an Educational Specialist for the University of Nebraska.

Aaron is co-author of the books: The Making of an Unshakeable Character and The Heart of a Difference Maker and is the author of the inspiring book, The Truth About Success.
