2022 OASC Convention Rules
1. All delegates, whether staying in hotels with an advisor, or at their homes will be considered to be in attendance at the OASC Convention from the time they register until 1 hour after the closing session.
2. No drugs, tobacco, alcohol, or weapons will be tolerated at any time during the OASC Convention.
3. Delegates must be at all functions of the OASC Convention on time and must check-in with their advisor ten minutes prior to the start of any general session. If they are not present, the advisor is to notify the OASC Convention Security, so they may be located.
4. If a delegate leaves early from an OASC Conference Activity, he/she must sign out with security, even though he/she might leave with an advisor. The advisor may sign out his/her delegate(s) if he/she so chooses.
5. Delegates must be at the place where they are staying 1 hour after the closing of convention activities each evening.
6. Delegates may not leave the hotel room except to attend scheduled OASC Convention activities, unless accompanied by their advisor.
7. All students must wear the wristbands and name tags provided by the host school at all times. The home school advisor should also provide delegates with an emergency contact number for the hotel in which he/she is staying or a cell phone.
8. It is the responsibility of the student delegate to call the provided phone numbers by the advisor in the case of any emergency or if he/she finds himself/herself in any uncomfortable situation at any time during the convention.
9. It is the responsibility of the advisors of the delegation to be present at ALL convention functions. If an advisor leaves, their home school principal will be contacted by the OASC Board.
10. It is the responsibility of the advisors of the delegation that have students staying in a hotel to ensure that they are in their rooms one hour following the end of the convention activities and remain there for the rest of the evening.
11. The school is responsible for payment of ALL register delegates after October 1, 2022.
12. It is the responsibility of the school and school advisor to obtain school health forms on each delegate. The OASC and Cache High School will not be responsible for Health Forms on student delegates.
