IELTS and TOEFL
Depending on where you are applying, you may need some form of proof of English Proficiency. Students typically sit for either the IELTS or TOEFL to satisfy this requirement. Please see below for instructions on how to register for these exams.
*Please take the time to familiarize yourself with the university/visa requirements. Certain schools or country systems may require a very specific test. Let your counselor know if you have difficulty determining which test you should be taking.*
Register for IELTS in Egypt

IELTS test fees are 3680 EGP and starting 1 October fees will be 3740 EGP.
To register for the exam, you will have to click on “Register Now for IELTS” and from the “Find Test Date” section choose the date and the module of the exam then click on “Apply” for the desired test.
You can confirm the payment by one of the below methods:
- You can make the payment online using your credit card while you are completing the registration by choosing “PAY NOW”. If you are paying online, your valid national ID or valid passport will be photocopied on the day of the exam.
- You can choose to "PAY LATER" to pay at one of our offices during the below working hours or you can delegate someone to make the payment on your behalf.
- You can choose to "PAY LATER" and then contact us providing your IELTS reference number after the online registration, and we will send you an invoice to pay the fees online using any online card.
Please make sure to make the payment within a maximum period of 24 hours from online registration, else the reservation will be cancelled.
In addition, a free IELTS preparation book is offered only to candidates who register for the IELTS test with the British Council to take the test. Where you will receive an e-mail inviting you to visit one of our offices to collect your book that includes preparations for IELTS test.
After registering you will receive an automatic email containing your access codes to our free online resources: Road to IELTS.
We will send you a confirmation email as soon as you complete your online registration giving you the start time of your test and the venue address.

Register for the TOEFL in Egypt

You have 2 options:
Test at Home
Test at a Test Center
To find out dates and test centers click on Search Test Centers
Under Find Test Center at or near this location write e.g: Cairo, Egypt or Maadi, Egypt (It will give you a drop-down to choose from once you start writing it in.
Under find dates within this 2 months period, choose the month you want to take the test. You can click on the blue arrow to move between months.
Click continue
You will find test dates in green
If you go down you will see rows with different dates. Under each one, you will find different test centers (*make sure the test center you choose is in Cairo or Giza)
After you settle for the place and date you want, click on show test times and Register
It will show you the times available.
Click on Register beside the time suitable for you
