Suggested Art Supplies
The gathering up of your art supplies is a super fun part of the creative process!
Start with what you already have and build from there. If possible, plan early, keep it simple, enjoy!
TRAVEL ART KIT SUGGESTIONS
Crayons (Toss a handful of crayons from home into a baggie instead of buying a new box) ** Be mindful of hot cars or spaces that will melt crayons.
Markers -heat-erasable ink pens, i.e. "Pilot Frixion Colors"
Small pieces of construction paper, i.e. origami paper is a great option.
A small notebook- plain white, unlined drawing paper
A small watercolor pad
Watercolor paper, postcard booklet
Pan watercolors (Crayola Education Watercolors sets are recommended) AND/OR watercolor colored pencils
Aqua brushes
DIY or small biz created Crayon Fabric Roll
Washable markers or crayons
Pencil + pencil sharpener
Tape
Scissors (if age appropriate)
Flat storage container or freezer style gallon-size Ziplock bags.
Variations by Age
Toddler (chubby washable crayons or Pip-squeaks mini markers; leave out the scissors)
TK (add extra stickers + washi tape and a small pack of colored paper)
Ages 6 and up (try watercolor pencils, pan watercolors + aqua brush,
add washi tape, origami paper, & gel pens)
