My goal as your recruiting officer is to provide clarity and support through every stage of our hiring process. We aren't just looking for people to fill a shift; we are looking for men and women of character who want to grow with us and protect the community we love.
If you have the drive to serve, we have a place for you. I look forward to meeting you during the process."

Hiring Process Overview
Once an application is submitted, applicants will receive an email regarding the date, time and location of the first section of the hiring process: The Written Examination. Applicants must score a 70% or above on the written examination to continue. After the examinations are taken, qualifying applicants will be contacted to schedule the time, date, and location of the next event, the Physical Agility Test. The physical agility test is a pass or fail test. The test is used as a measure of an applicants ability to perform physical tasks associated with what they may encounter in the line of duty. All qualifying applicants will then be contacted again to establish the time, date, and location of the next segment, the Panel Interview. The panel interview is considered a pass or fail event. The applicant will be interviewed by a pre-selected panel of interviewers, who will ask the applicant various questions on multiple different topics. Once all panel interviews are conducted, the qualifying applicants will enter the Background Investigation portion of the hiring process. These background interviews are conducted by the Cabot Police Department's Professional Standards Division. If an applicant is able to complete all steps in the process, the applicant will be placed on a hire list and will be contacted according to performance in all events.
