GENERAL
❔How many days does it take to process the Certificate of Registration for both Aircraft and Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA)?
19 WORKING days.
❔Upon receiving the Original Certificate of Registration, what is the validity of the said Certificate? When will it expire?
The CofR is valid for 12 Months (1 Year) starting from the date of issuance. (Refer to Memorandum Circular No. 21-12, Series of 2012 [pg. 8] 4.1.1 No. 5
❔When should I renew my Certificate of Registration?
30 days before the expiration of CofR, you must apply for revalidation. (Refer to Memorandum Circular No. 21-12, Series of 2012 [pg. 8] 4.1.2)
❔How will I know that my Certificate of Registration is renewed?
Aircraft Registration Section will print out the VALIDITY of your CofR on your submitted Official Receipt (O.R.) (see image sample at the HOME page).
❔How and where can I get the Order of Payment Slip (OPS)?
You may request the Order of Payment Slip at ARS Office, kindly bring you duly notarized CAAP Application form. STRICTLY NO Application form NO Assessment.
REMOTELY PILOTED AIRCRAFT
❔Can I use one set of documents for the application package for registering more than one/bulk RPA?
NO, the Aircraft Registration Section requires one (1) set of documents per application package.
❔I would like to choose my own RPA registration marking, is it possible?
NO, the Aircraft Registration Section will provide the Registration Marking.
❔My RPA unit is not within Metro Manila, how can CAAP inspect the RPA?
Kindly submit a letter request for Inspection.
❔How much does RPA registration cost?
Php 1500 + 12% VAT = Php 1680.
