What does LEADERS mean?

How It Works

• When your child shows one of these good behaviors, they get a LEADERS ticket.
  
  

• Every Wednesday, the front office chooses one name from each kindergarten class.
  
  

• The winners get a dress down day (no uniform) and a bracelet!

Rewards for Rock Star Behavior

• Kind words from the teacher (verbal praise)
  
  

• LEADERS tickets (to win a dress down day on Friday)
  
  

• Stuffy Day (bring a stuffed animal)

What is Rock Star Behavior?

• Helping classmates or the teacher
  
  

• Following class rules
  
  

• Keeping the classroom clean
  
  

• Getting good reports from other teachers or staff

Reflection Sheets

Sometimes, children make mistakes. That’s okay!
They may need time to think about how to do better next time.

What is a Reflection Sheet?

• A paper your child fills out to think about their choices
  
  

• It helps them learn from mistakes

What Parents Need to Know

• If your child gets a reflection sheet:
  
  

  • It will be sent home
    
    

  • You will be asked to sign it if the behavior is consistently disrupting the classroom and lessons.
    
    

  • Depending on the behavior I may or may not email home.
