The first few weeks of school will focus on building relationships, getting to know one another, having fun, and establishing classroom routines and expectations. Students will have plenty of opportunities to learn about their new classroom, build friendships, and practice the routines that will help make our school year successful.
We’re excited to start the year together and create a positive, welcoming learning environment for everyone!
In 1st grade, students will have the opportunity to learn from different teachers for math, reading, and science/social studies. This structure allows our teachers to get to know all of our 1st graders in different settings and helps us better meet each student’s unique academic needs.
