Open Court Literacy - Reading, Phonics, & Writing
Open Court is a curriculum based on research-based instruction, teacher input, and learner progress monitoring. The independent research base used to develop Open Court spans more than 50 years. Open Court is effective because it reinforces student learning through both whole group, small group, and individualized instruction. It captures teaching content and methods to suit each type and level of learner. Teacher-informed, research-validated teaching and learning strategies show unbelievable growth in our students.
Releasing Writers
Releading Writers is a curriculum that supports students in becoming independent, confident writers through specific writing structure, explicit mini-lessons, and opportunities to write, revise, and share their work. The curriculum encourages students to take ownership of their writing, while providing structured instruction in the writing process and essential writing skills. It is designed for students to become powerful writers.
FOSS for Science
FOSS was designed from its roots to provide every child with the opportunity to develop their ability to think scientifically. The FOSS staff at the Lawrence Hall of Science devised FOSS to fully integrate active investigation and multi-sensory learning, an approach proven effective for all learners, regardless of prior knowledge, language, or background.
TCI for Social Studies
The TCI approach to Social Studies Curriculum Resources and Programs integrates proven teaching strategies, engaging content, and meaningful technology to excite students and foster their love of learning.
