About Mrs. Szpak

Hello Families!

My name is Mrs. Szpak (it’s pronounced like “Spock”), and I am so excited to be your child’s teacher this year! We are going to learn and grow so much together.

Before I became a teacher, I was in the U.S. Air Force. I retired in 2019 and decided to follow my dream of becoming a teacher—something I’ve always wanted to do! I’ve taught both 1st and 2nd grade in different school districts, and this is my third year teaching 2nd grade at C2E. I’m so happy to be back!

When I’m not at school, I’m spending time with my own family. I’m married and have two daughters: Ava (17) and Emma (16). They both go to Highlands Ranch High School. We also have three silly dogs—Jackson, Charlie, and Bear! As a family, we love to hike, camp, and be outside as much as possible.

I can’t wait to get to know your child and work together to make this a great school year!
