Hello! My name is Jade Christensen. I am an Arizonan, upcoming teacher. I grew up as the youngest of 13 siblings which includes 30+ nieces and nephews. Let's just say I have had a lot of experience with children between ages 0-18! I am so excited to further my knowledge and become a positive, influential teacher.

In 5th grade, I had my heart set on becoming a marine biologist since visiting Sea World; I even sent them a letter asking the easiest way to become one and how to work with dolphins. I learned a lot, including how expensive it would be to leave Arizona and study at a coastal university! Upon further reflection, I felt a strong urge to become a teacher and influence children the way my educators did for me--especially my second-grade teacher.

Mrs. Cullen, my second-grade teacher, changed the course of my learning for the best. She believed in each of her students' potential, held us to high expectations, and had love to go around. I want to uphold my future students to the same standards:
