Time: The first training took me about a half hour to complete, and the water quality training took about an hour.
Insights:
This week’s training helped me to understand the ability of the software to understand the present states of different continuous data sets, but to use that data to see what trends we may see in the future. This capability is hugely applicable to so many fields, and as someone with an environmental/conservation career trajectory I can see how useful this can be in understanding hazards and trends, particularly in pollution.
With this in mind, I originally chose the Urban Heat challenge but the link didn’t work, so instead I completed the model water quality training.
