Gabe Goldman (Class of 2025) - As Co-Editor-in-Chief, Gabe hopes to broaden the reach of The Oracle, making it the go-to source for BHHS news! As a writer, he enjoys crafting creative pieces, covering Byram sports, and making local restaurant recommendations. In his free time, he loves playing basketball and spending time with his chocolate lab, Bamba.
Chloe Kohl (Class of 2025) is a Co-Editor-in-Chief for The Oracle. She likes to write about scientific breakthroughs as well as science research at Byram Hills. Outside of school, Chloe loves to play piano and spend time with friends.
Laurel Fox (Class of 2025) is the Senior Editor for The Oracle. She mostly likes to write opinion pieces and updates about the school community. In her free time, Laurel likes to spend time with her cat, Wilbur, and dog, Auggie, volunteer at the Greenwich Audubon, nap, and watch TV. Her favorite show is BoJack Horseman.
Evan McCauley (Class of 2025) is an editor for The Oracle. He loves to write about sports and school news. Evan plays piano in the school jazz band and plays golf. In his free time, Evan enjoys taking his dog for walks and spending time with his family and friends. Something not many people know about Evan is that his favorite place he has traveled to is Israel, where he got Bar Mitzvahed!
Carter Rice (Class of 2027) is an editor for The Oracle. He plays soccer and basketball. Carter enjoys snowboarding and hanging out with his friends.
Seniors
Drew Schneider has a 9-year-old 45-pound Goldendoodle named Norm. He has played lacrosse his whole life and is a member of the varsity lacrosse team. Drew is a huge robotics fan and has been in the robotics club throughout his high school career. Additionally, he is also a massive Knicks and Giants fan.
Juniors
Lilly Alonzo is a self-proclaimed writer and artist with a passion for things that make you think. She is often found with a cat in her lap, reading her latest literary obsession with a cup of hot chocolate.
Jillian Gendal loves to dance and is on the Armonk Center for Dance Senior competition team. She loves dance because it serves as an outlet to take a break from schoolwork and express herself. In addition, Jillian has also found an interest in graphic design and photography. Jillian loves these classes because they allow her to be creative.
Amelia Wilt Peterson likes to write opinion pieces and creative writing. She is on the Cross-Country and Spring Track teams, as well as the Mock Trial team. In her free time, she enjoys crocheting, reading, painting, and hanging out with her friends.
Chloe Wolf loves tennis, spending time with friends and family, and watching TV. Growing up, Chloe played tennis and went to camp. As she's gotten older, Chloe's had the chance to play with new people and in new environments. One of the things she was most excited about in high school was playing on the JV team.
Sophomores
Matthew Kohl likes to help with the sports section. His favorite teams are the Knicks, Yankees, and Giants. He has a dog named Charlie.
Ocean Lee has two dogs, who are both currently three years old, and one sister. On the weekends, she likes to hang out with her friends and go to Greenwich. During the summer, Ocean enjoys going to the beach, swimming, and relaxing. Her favorite subject in school is English, and she loves dystopian novels.
Maeve Rippy is an active member of many Byram Hills sports teams, including field hockey, winter track, and softball. She enjoys baking, art, and hanging out with friends in her free time.
Noah Stopnik is a writer for The Oracle. He loves to play tennis, go on hikes with his dog, play the guitar, travel to new places, listen to music, watch movies, and spend time with his friends and family. He is on his school’s tennis team, speech and debate team, and Model UN team. He also hopes to become a member of winter track later in the school year. He loves to read and write as well, which is why English has become his favorite academic class over the past few years.
