The Tree of 40 Fruit

The Tree of 40 Fruit serves as the perfect analogy for the Byram Hills Authentic Science Research Program; as a group, we push the bounds of nature as pioneers in science, striking wonder and awe in the communities around us. Just years ago, a tree yielding 40 different fruit, flowering with 40 different colors, may have been called impossible; however, just as artist Sam Van Aken stretched the limits of the human imagination with science, as the leaders of the future, we find possibility in the impossible, and reason in the unthinkable. Each year, as the Tree of 40 Fruit blooms in vibrancy, the Byram Hills Authentic Science Research program celebrates our awe-inspiring Senior Class.

When each senior receives their diploma we pay tribute to the beginning of their journey by revisiting their ASR application and taking a peak at their former selves.  Enjoy!
