Y10 Curriculum

Y10 Curriculum Map

Y10 Students will have chosen the option of either GCSE AQA Combined Science (This will be the majority of the year group) or Separate Science AQA. Students continue to build on the foundations of their learning in KS3 as they explore scientific concepts in greater depth and complete required investigative elements of the course. Much of the course content is common between Combined and Separate Sciences and there are foundation and higher aspects to the curricula.

Year 10 Separate Scientists have had the opportunity to dissect a heart and have a hands-on look at the structure of the heart. They took various measurements and compared the two sides of the heart having learned about the structure and function of the heart.
