Safer Internet Day

Safer Internet Day (SID) is designated on 8 February each year to highlight the importance of  safe, responsible and positive use of digital technology. 

Initiated in Europe, the Media Literacy Council (LINK) of Singapore has linked up with this programme, but not without complementing it with local initiatives.

The global theme for 2022 is “Together for a better Internet”. We at Bowen will focus on more specific area of Internet safety, in particular to help our students understand how they can responsibly ensure their safe use of the Internet so as to support their learning and interests. 

2022 Bowen SID would be "Responsible Use of the Internet Starts with Me" and it will take place during the Thursday CCE lesson in T1W5, just a week before Bowen Care-Inclusion Week BCIW 2022.
