Every action and choice while alive leads to a precise calculation.
Angels are those with positive points on the reputation system. Once Angels are sent to heaven, they still have tasks and whatnot to do and these tasks count towards their reputation points. Thanks to this system, certain positions in Heaven’s Royalty change often and it’s possible for angels to fall. Fallen Angels are those who can’t keep up with Heaven’s standards and are sent to Earth to wander, however those who fall are no longer in contact with heaven. Because of this, they were unable to report a glitch in the reputation point system causing them to no longer be affected by it. Those with low reputation points in the beginning struggle to stay in Heaven and are at the highest risk of falling.
Those with the highest reputation counts.
King of Heaven - Male with highest rep count
Queen of Heaven - Female with highest rep count
Princes and Princesses of Heaven - 5 total of each, male and female aside from queen and king with highest rep counts
Heaven’s Nobles - 5 Dukes and Duchesses, 10 Counts and Countesses
Heaven’s Nobles’ Families - Heaven’s Nobles can choose their family members (Max amount per family though, just yet to be determined)
Just a bunch of randos, some of which are being given a second chance by watching over members of Hell’s rebellion. Fallen Angels no longer have reputation counts, use this as you will.
What heaven doesn’t know is that a few of the fallen angels have started forming organizations on Earth
There are eight fallen angel factions around the world, each of which are in contact with one fallen angel who was once the most revered in all of heaven many centuries ago.
While most fallen angels are in factions, there are also rogue fallen angels who do as they please outside of these factions either because they don't feel they fit into the eight factions or because they're parasocial.
A group of demons from hell wish to escape from hell because they feel that they don’t belong there. Typically those who have small reputation counts in the negatives.
President of the rebellion - the founder of the rebellion, truly believes that the system is wrong
Vice President of the rebellion - close friend of the rebellion’s founder
Officers of the rebellion - 8 officers who manage the rebellion and are close confidants of the president of the rebellion
Members of the rebellion - they agree with the rebellion’s ideals and want to help the rebellion
The demons with the lowest reputation counts.
King of Hell - Male with lowest rep count
Queen of Hell - Female with lowest rep count
Princes and Princesses of Hell - 5 total of each, male and female aside from queen and king with lowest rep counts
Hell’s Nobles - 5 Dukes and Duchesses, 10 Counts and Countesses
Hell’s Nobles’ Families - Hell’s Nobles can choose their family members
Once sent to Hell, the reputation count stops. It's only applicable while in the realm of the living. Despite formalities and titles, those in Hell are subjected to personalized torture rather than group torture. This torture is often mental rather than physical and commonly results in demons only remembering fragments of their human lives. This is their price for being bad people while alive according to the reputation point system.
Hell's Rebellion succeeds (dunno how yet) and manages to get the system to listen about how unfair it truly is. That sometimes, unjust actions have just reasons and results. That sometimes, the greater good is actually the greater good and that the world isn't simply black and white, but rather many shades of gray. And sometimes purple.
Hell's Rebellion is given a second chance to prove themselves by being sent to Earth to live again. Not only Hell's Rebellion, but Hell's Royalty is also given a second chance to test just how much a soul can truly change. However, to ensure that all Hell doesn't break lose, the demons are accompanied by guardian angels. These guardians are based on the corresponding ranks. For example, the King of Heaven is the guardian angel to watch over the King of Hell's second life. This forces close proximity between the two, and the guardian angels are also forced to live as humans again.
By coincidence (or perhaps fate), each of the guardian angels and their demons happened to know each other in their human lives. This causes fascinating dynamics between them as they return to Earth to live again. Not to mention, due to differences in life and afterlife memories, some may know things that their counterpart doesn't. For example, in the siblings below, only one of them remembers their human life.
Oh, also actual character design for King of Heaven is below because I absolutely butchered the traditional art drawing when doing it from a memory from months ago. So chibi version will do until I redraw that sick design.
There is a doc with claims! (Apologies if you end up with a lower claim, this thing's been around for a hot sec. Though don't let that stop you from joining, cause I'm gonna just do this in an if you want to join then join way. The storyline may seem developed, but the truth is, almost nothing has actually been done yet outside of the initial setup. So, this is very open and not too hard to latch on to.)
Everyone gets four characters (give or take). Everyone designs a character from each section. The sections include Heaven's Royalty, Fallen Angels, Hell's Rebellion, and Hell's Royalty.
